Halloween & X-mas Shopping
My health has gone down hill again. 
It seems to get a lil better then worse again, which of course is so insanely frustrating. I’ve been dealing with pain and physical limitations so long that even though it is much worse now it’s still not the hardest thing to deal with. The hardest thing to deal with is ‘not knowing’ what is causing the pain and if there is something I can do to make it better. The closest the Rheumatologist has come to an explanation is severe vitamin deficiency, yet he can’t say WHY or WHAT causes the deficiency. When he 1st put me on the mega dose vitamin D, calcium and magnesium (spring?) there was some improvement but it didn’t last. I’m still taking them and in October I added the mega dose of omega 3 oils he prescribed, but they haven’t help at all.
The pain and stiffness has gotten worse, I get muscle fatigue and general exhaustion very quickly and I’m having breathing problems & swelling up again both caused by lymphedema (lypmph fluid leaking in between cells causing swelling and compresses organs, lungs and heart most sensitive to it.) Prior to the last month or so I’d wake up and hour or so later the pain and stiffness especially in my hands would subside, but its not going away and getting more intense.( I hope this is not a side effect of the metformin) Typing really hurts, which is partly why I’ve not been blogging much. Also I have been having more spinal spasms; 4 months ago I had virtually none, now they are almost every day, Shooting, throbbing pain that runs up my spine, neck and head. I’m not sure if this is caused by the pinched nerves or the excess intracranial pressure or both or something completely new. Over the counter pain pills aren’t working very well if at all on worst days/nights.
Thursday November 4, I saw my primary physician, Dr, Nemeth. She doubled my dose of Metformin because my insulin is still too high and there has been little improvement. Also she ordered some hormones tests, retest my thyroid levels because I haven’t had my menstruation in a couple months. See if hormone imbalance could be contributing to all the other imbalances and disorders of my body. She also ordered kidney function blood panel because Metformin can stress out the kidneys.
Despite my problems I’ve been having some fun. 
Halloween I spent the day with Rob got all up as a Zombie/Witch. We went to Lunch, the South Land mall, and stopped by his old work to bug the coworkers he was still friends with. Walking around it was amusing the array of reactions I got from people to my costume, some laughed and complimented, some were intimidated and one man was quite hostile. Yelling at me that anyone celebrating Halloween was celebrating the devil and going to hell and he ranted a whole lot more along those lines. Why is he spending his day in the mall if he doesn’t want to see people in costume? The mall had signs promoting Halloween trick or treating events and many store cashiers/owners were dress up. So if he had such a problem why not go hang out at the coffee shop down the street instead of the one in the mall? Eh, there’s always going to be crazy ranting people. 
I got off on a rant too, so back to Halloween. We spent the eve with few friends watching scary movies and sipping on some VAMPIRE brand wine. It was a cool bottle and gimmicky thing for Halloween but it smells lot better than it tastes. LOL 
Wednesday Rob and I checked the Halloween clearance and other sales. I picked up a wig and some Goth makeup at 50% off, Rob bought me a “Hello Kitty” soft pack lunch box on clearance for $5.50, an early B-day present. I have a thing for Hello Kitty even more so since I learned she was copy righted/born in 1976 like me. So this year Hello Kitty is 30 years old, like I will be at the end of this month. I also bought Aaron a toy for Christmas that was 50% off.
Thursday was the doctor’s appointment I mentioned above, Friday I got the blood drawn for Dr. Nemeth’s tests. Oh I also had CBC blood draw on Monday October 30th for the Hematologist and it must still be in ok range because I didn’t get a call from them.
Saturday I went cloths and grocery shopping with Mom. I received a $10 off coupon for Fashion Bug in the mail and my younger sis had some cloths items on her X-mas wish lists. I bought her 2 blouses and got a great price for them because they were running 40% off sale. Also they had undies buy 3 get 3 free. I needed new underwear BAD, even at half off I paid at least twice as much as I would if I bought a 6 pack of Hanes but these are sooo much cuter. LOL Even fat girls need to feel sexy. 
It was a great week for bargain Shopping!

Yep, even us fat chicks like pretty stuff. Though, in all honesty, the underwear isn’t a draw for me. My husband is of the notion that the most sexy looking underwear is none it all! LOL!
