Pre X-mas Chaos, My Birthday, More Doc visits & Tests
Tue November 21st, I tried to mail Paul(bro in law in Iraq) a Christmas care package through FedEx, but they wouldn’t do it to a Military P.O box. Probably because has to go thru multi checks and can’t guarantee specific time delivery.
Wed 22nd take Rob home with me. Then mail the Pauls gift, I ended up delivering it through Regular postal mail. Cost me $23.75 but the box was 23 pounds so thats pretty good. After wards we stop at the store for Tiramisu ingredients, pop and snacks for Rob. Around 1am Melissa arrives at My home she is spending Thanksgiving here.
Thurs 23rd Thanksgiving chaos, Our oven went out but lucky this happened after most the food was cooked, we tried to cook the pies at the other house but we were not familiar with theoven or something becuse they didn’t cook quite right but were still tasty. Had good time, good food. Melissa And Rob went back that eve because they both had to work Friday.
Sat 26th I got my hair permed I am not totally pleased with the results, the “stylist” gave me more waves when I know I said I wanted curls at least 3 times, ever get that feeling you keep telling a person what you want but they aren’t listening and doing what THEY WANT?!,
That eve I made BIG pan of tiramisu (Italian coffee flavor dessert). It was funny I added too much RUM and/or didn’t let it “breathe” enough so kind of made me light headed and tipsy and I was worried letting my niece eat it. This recipe is supposed to be left in fridge overnight, but I didn’t want anything to get spilled or fall on it so I had it tightly sealed so alcohol didn’t evaporate as much as it should have. Ooops!!, but it was good and let it breather so by next day was not so strong alcohol taste and in 3 days it was eaten all gone.
Sun 27th was my early b-day family party, OH! I got a NICE digital camera my brother in law and eldest sis, but I feel bad about it now because bro in law got laid off from his job following week.
Also my 2nd older sister bought me some really sexy cute shoes, Sexy Birthday Shoes I need to get a good outfit to go with the shoes now. LOL
My younger sis and her husband actually came to visit on my birthday. They have money problems too so Dollar store is Sis fav place to shop for gifts. 
:OP but since she never even acknowledged my birthday or talked to me for almost 2 years this is an improvement.
My brother didn’t even call, but he is working 2 -3 jobs and not even sure if he gets the voice mail messages, his pay as you go cell goes inactive kind of frequently.
Tue 28th my birthday turn 30, got collectable tin with hello kitty* friend pez, kniffty knitter from Melissa and went out to dinner with few friends. Afterwards back at Robs him and Terry played Wii till wee hours of morn, I left at 4am to bed. Sometime later Rob woke me up and tried to give me a “present” I told him to rewrap it and I’d open it in a few hours, LOL
Wed 29th Got up sometime in afternoon, accepted Robs “present”, Took Rob’s Mom on med pick up/ shopping trip cuz her car was in the shop . Then Spent over 3 boring hours waiting around at his friends Snow Plow office while Rob was fixing an ancient dinosaur of a computer and trying to install new software. Which Rob didn’t get paid for! Then Went and got Melissa from work, had dinner, then she came over hung out, used Rob’s computer.
Thurs 30th dropped Rob off for his commute to work with his sis, drove hour home and stopped to pick up some groceries. My kitty Phattie is not looking so good she was throwing up some before I left and now she’s got an infected looking eye. 
Fri December 1st, a visit to an Otolaryngologist, ear, nose, and throat doctor (ENT) for a salivary glad biopsy for Sjogrens. My Neurologist asked me to have it in September took this long for insurance to allow me to get it. ENT staff gives me some bullshit about not having proper codes written on the referral letter from my primary so they can’t do a biopsy or any test. None of my other 4 other specialist ever had a problem? So I just ended up filling out lots of paper work and getting a once over from the ENT and rescheduling.
When I got home Pattie’s looking worse; her eye was all swelled shut and dripping goo. So I took her to a Vet, Vet says Phattie has a tooth in her upper jaw that has an abscess and the infection has gone up into eye orbit so it made her eye infected too. It was $60 just for the Vet to look at her and give me antibiotics medicine to administer for 10days. It’s going to cost another $300-350 to get the bad tooth pulled.
Sat 2nd That afternoon I went with my sis and Bro in law to see My brother, Aral perform in a play” Every Christmas Story Ever Told” It was very amusing play I would reccomend going if you live in Michigan it is at the Meadow Brook theater for the next 2 weeks? Afterwards his girlfriend Lynn (she works backstage)and Aral went to Dinner with us at a nearby Diner. Was nice to catch up, see him, he looked very wore out He payed for our Dinners. We didn’t get much time because he had to be back at the theatre to perform the evening play.
Sun 3rd, I tried to get in on one of the amazon.com one day, limited item sales, and was not worth getting up early. The server was so overloaded I couldn’t even get in. But I was up so I went to Church with Mom, Then we cleaned up the house and put up the Christmas tree, I also wrapped most my presents for the family.
Mon 4th, I had a 7am my doc appointment. The physician was 1/2 hr late, but it was snowing and lil slippery and she lives kind of far away. This was a check up with my primary physician, Dr. Nemeth. She went over my most recent tests and results from all specialists and she ordered 10 more blood tests and 2 urine tests, I have to do them tomorrow because one is a fasting test. She also got my insurance to approve my prescription for prilosec, I was on Nexium which works better for me but its “newer” med and cost more so insurance not approve it. So I have a prescription for Two (2) a day or Prilosec, If I’m not taking one of these types of meds I start urping up acid and bile.
I did phone tag with blood lab billing office and insurance to straighten out billing error. Did most my Christmas cards, I only doing about 10 mostly for people I won’t be seeing or don’t see much of. I figure rest will get presents so not going to waste money on lots of cards and stamps that will be just tossed out.
Phattie is recovering well, most the swelling is gone and she is in high spirits again, being her vocal demanding self and giving me a hard time when I try to give her medicine.
There were some ornaments I saw in an oriental trading catalog I wanted for my little tree and to send to a friend. When I went to order online the site no longer even listed them. Through web search I found lot of OVERPRICED eBay listing and the “Christian Dollar Store” listed them in stock, shipping on this web site is flat rate $6.95 for orders of $1-$30. The ornaments where like $9 per dozen so I ordered 2 sets then added $5 in religious trinkets. I get a confirmation email saying my Complete order went through.
Tue 5th, I went to Woodland hospital like usual for the blood work; then off to visit Rob. We went through catalogs from jewelry stores he picked up and while at the mall we went into 2 jewelry stores checking out Rings :OP Also hung out Melissa that eve. I checked my email I had a shipping notification from Christian Dollar store. The email invoice showed the Ornaments, which were 75% of my order were out of stock, not on back order and they were only sending me $5 trinkets at $6.95 shipping. 
I checked their website again; it still showed the ornament in stock and would even let me order them again. I went all the way through to the payment page with NO NOTIFICATION of the item being out of stock. So I sent an email letter of protest, but much good that will do. 
Wed 6th “holiday” hang out with the Terry, Sue & Sean crew at Terry Parents home. Terry’s still not responding well to new OCD meds, staying at his parents (Or Robs.) because he doesn’t want to be alone. Exchanged token gifts with Sue & Sean because probably not see then again before X-mas, gave Terry a goody bag and big bag of 3 types of treats to his new Beagle “Girlie Girl”, the dog was much more enthusiastic and thankful than Terry LOL. We watch a movie and watched the boys play video games.
Checked mail before going to bed, got a reply about my order ‘Sorry you are upset, that item is discontinued’ Well then take it off your website!!!
Thursday 7th back home, resting, trying to decide if the intense pain in my lower back from last 3 days is just my body trying to force a menstrual or something I need to worry about. I’ve not had a menstruation (period) in 18 weeks? But blood tests from 3-4 weeks ago say I am not pregnant, so probably just another hormonal/endocrine/autoimmune f@#$ up of my body.
Dr. Nemeth’s office called today with my Tuesday test results, most result look fine except C-reactivce protein and Sed Rate are still high and my insulin is still VERY high, they don’t want to increase my Metformin dose because too much can stress/damage Kidneys so they have asked me to find out if my insurance will let me consult with a dietician.
