Visit Gone Wrong

Friday-Saturday? We noticed the shower/tub was leaking really badly so Dad tried to fix it by re-caulking all the walls. The tub had to dry a few days so no showers over the weekend.

Monday Dec 11th,
Melissa and Rob decided to come out and spend there days off here. Around 10:30pm I get a call Rob’s car had died on the highway and him and Melissa needed a rescue. So I enlisted the help of my bro in law (SEB) to go pick up the stranded duo, Also we were sent on a milkshake run. As we were nearing the exit where they had indicated the car died Melissa called on the mobile phone to inform us that Rob had been able to coax the car to a restaurant parking lot near the exit ramp. So we picked the pair up then made a stop on the way home at McDonalds, we order one of every flavor shake vanilla for my sis, Eggnog for bro in law, Chocolate for Melissa, Strawberry for me and Rob to share. We confused the cashier taking our order at the drive through because her voice sounded as if she was questioning if it was a real order. It was taking them quite a while to make up the shakes that my bro in law made the statement that maybe we overloaded the shake machine and broke it, probably lot funnier if you were there. Got them back to the house unharmed, watched lil telly and unwound. I had fitful night of waking every 2-3 hours to pee. Plus Rob hogging the Middle of the bed, so was hanging off the edge.

Tuesday, I Took a shower and the tub started leaking again , but I was 4th one to take one so either wasn’t completely dry yet or more likely tub needs more than lil caulk.
While I was bathing I didn’t notice anything unusual but couple hours later my belly button started hurting and when I went to the bathroom there was dried blood and fresh blood coming out of it. I must say this kind of freaked me out , I’ve cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide and q-tips repeatedly through out the day and the bleeding seems to have slowed to a minimal but I don’t know why it would be bleeding. I’ve not got stabbed in belly or anything and it seems not to be an infection, no pus, no odor, definitely something to keep an eye on and inform my doctor of.
Also talked to my younger sis little bit, she got dropped off early in the day because her husband had 12+ hours of practicals for EMS training in the city close to us. So Alica spent the day here instead of being home alone, most the day she seemed to spend with Dad askinh him to tell her war stories or stories of his youth.
That afternoon Dad took Rob to retrieve his car and get it towed to a nearby mechanic, while Melissa, Alica and I watched “Beer Fest. Rob’s waiting to hear from them with an estimate of the damage. When Rob returned we watched “Stewie Griffin Movie”
That evening the 3 of us (Rob, Mel & I) went out in the heavy rain and fog to a local dinner to just hang out for a while. When we returned we watch Pirates of the Caribbean 2” with the fam. Justin Arrive he didn’t stay long he was very tired and its a long drive home.

Now it is almost 2 am, I’m listening to Rob And Melissa snore.  I’m still awake even though I took something that is supposed to help me sleep. But its timeto push Rob over and try to get some rest.
